Manufactured Homes Insurance Agency (MHIA) is a small but very strongly customer focused insurance underwriting agency specialising in the manufactured home and recreational vehicle industry.

MHIA offers true personal service – the person who answers the phone can deal the full array of customer enquiries.  This includes quotes, payments, endorsements, claims and complaints.

Unlike many insurers both the customer service ‘call centre’ and claims department are in the same premises.

MHIA has been operating from the Central Coast of New South Wales since 1990 with its customer base throughout Australia.

Manufactured Homes Insurance Agency (MHIA) began 1990 with a specialised policy for Manufactured Homes. Manufactured Homes are also known as Relocatable Homes or Park Homes.

MHIA’s Manufactured Home policy is the first policy for these homeowners to cover accidental damage to items other than glass.

From a very small beginning MHIA has grown to become a major force in the relocatable home insurance market.

MHIA then developed a policy for on site caravans and old style mobile homes. Again MHIA’s insight in policy coverage especially in the area of Public Liability coverage had it leading the way over its opposition.

Over the last several years MHIA has released its policies for Motorhomes and Caravan Parks.
